The forgotten tapes

Only parts of the 1964 concert at the Museum of Modern Art (Moderna museet) were published on Sonet. Now Jan Olsson reports that he has rediscovered the remaining materal, including You Stepped out of a Dream, Ablution, Detour Ahead and Fascinating Rhythm. The first two have been issued on Anagram CD7.
But Detour Ahead is played by Rolf Billberg alone with the rhythm section and strings. Nu Gullin present, so strike b from session 64-02.

Japanese Metronome issues

I had to leave a hole in the discography in order to have it ready for printing. The omission is the details on several Japanese reissues of Metronome LPs. Just recently did I find some details on the web: http://park8.wakwak.com/~morizane/DISK_BARI/BARI/baritone_etc_2.html.
Still the record numbers are absent.

Agda really exists

When I found the title "Smart Agda" in the database of The Swedish National Archive of Recorded Sound and Moving Images (SLBA, Ljud- och bildarkivet) , I thought is was a typo - and chief discographer Björn Englund promised to correct it. But Gullin's tune Smart Alec was in fact published as Smart Agda along with Smooth Breeze on Esquire 10-338.
